1) Manual resetting of the clock

As the clocks are mains powered it is possible to re adjust them from the ground simply by turning the mains power off and switching back on at the correct time. This applies to power failures and summer winter time changes. Most clocks can also be adjusted from behind the dial if access is possible.

2) Automatic control

We can supply an electronic controller for new or existing mains driven electric clocks which will restart the clocks at the correct time following power failures and is also programmed to adjust the clocks for summer/winter time variations (Daylight Saving). This unit effectively does what you would do manually but renders the clock maintainance free. One controller can operate up to four dials.

3) GPS Satelite control

This system receives signals via satellite and constantly updates the time displayed on the clock. In the event of a power failure a battery takes over which is automatically recharged once power is restored. In the event of longer power failures and for seasonal time changes the clocks will automatically fast advance to the correct time. This system is used widely in public and time critical applications where a reliable maintaince free solution is required.
